Having received a number of commendable professional awards for her work in aesthetic treatments, and accumulating more than a decade of experience in skin care, our Clinical Director Jackie Partridge has a unique knowledge of the industry and is well respected for the exceptional service she provides to her patients.

After wrapping up successful industry masterclasses to 85 practitioners at Strathclyde University last month and to another 30 in London last week, Jackie is preparing for her next insightful conference alongside Galderma at the Aesthetics Conference and Exhibition (ACE) in London.

This event provides a varied and extensive range of informative sessions tailored for professionals in the aesthetic industry.

We take a look at Jackie’s extensive portfolio of skills and qualifications, a set which help to make Dermal Clinic a centre of excellence.

Expertise

Jackie is sought-after on a national and international scale. She has been headhunted to sit on Galderma’s panel of experts, providing training on facial injections to plastic surgeons, doctors, nurses, dentists and other healthcare professionals.

Jackie qualified from the University of Stirling with a foundation in Dermatology BSc and Independent Prescribers Qualification, but originally graduated from the Lothian College of Nursing and Midwifery in 1994. In 2017 she achieved Distinction in her Post Graduate Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine from Northumbria University and is now working towards the Diploma.

She has featured on BBC Radio Scotland, Television (STV), presented and demonstrated at Strathclyde University and presented to both the Royal College of Surgeons in Glasgow and University Clinical Skills Laboratory in Glasgow and the Royal College of Physicians in London.

Impressively, Jackie has also featured in a series of professional journals and publications such as The Aesthetics Journal.

Responsibilities

Jackie’s expertise has even been called upon by the Scottish government, helping to bring in new safety regulations in 2016. Dermal Clinic was also the first clinic to register with Healthcare Improvement Scotland, with Jackie now also sitting on the programme board for Phase two.

As a founding board member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN), Jackie champions responsible industry practice which is reflected in her knowledge of anatomy and setting the standard for safe, controlled procedures that bring naturally gorgeous results.

It is this impressive set of skills, extensive knowledge and industry experience that has set Jackie and Dermal Clinic apart from others.

It’s no wonder that Tatler magazine named her one of the best cosmetic nurses in the UK in 2016.

Jackie and her team have received over 20 accolades since opening the clinic back in 2007. These titles include:
