Are you 18 or over and looking for a convenient and private way to see a Doctor in Edinburgh? Then look no further than our private GP service. You can get the care you need quickly and easily.

Our established and multi award-winning clinic is delighted to offer both new and existing patients access to our experienced and qualified GPs, and they will take the time to listen to your concerns and answer your questions in a relaxed and unhurried appointment.

You can book an appointment online or by calling our friendly staff. Patients must be a minimum age of 18 years.

We are committed to providing you with the highest quality care. Our GPs are dedicated to your health and well-being. We will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan that meets your individual needs.

When you book in with one of our medical team, you will have a 30-minute consultation and the cost of a private prescription will be included within the cost of this appointment. We don’t want anyone to feel rushed, so if you feel that you have a more complex medical history/needs or would prefer an even longer time with the Doctor, we are able to offer 45-minute appointments. Please confirm how long an appointment you would like at the time of booking.

We strive to do everything we can to leave no stone unturned to get to the root cause of your medical concern.

Your appointment will start with a consultation with your GP. They will ask you about your symptoms and medical history and, with your permission, they may also perform a physical examination. Once they have diagnosed your condition, they will discuss treatment options with you.

In most cases 30 minutes will be plenty of time to discuss your medical needs with one of our doctors but we don’t want you to feel rushed, so longer appointments are available on request.

It’s often helpful to have a note of your current medications, so please bring this with you. You can also add your medications to an electronic medical history consultation form which we will email you prior to your appointment, so please check your junk folder, if you haven’t received this. Please complete this form prior to your appointment to help the doctor provide best advice.

If a prescription is required, this will be provided at your consultation appointment without an additional charge. Please note this is a private prescription, so you will be responsible for paying the chemist for the medication. Please note that we do not provide prescriptions for controlled medication.

Those wishing to use our GP@DC service does not mean you are leaving the NHS. We will be happy to write to your NHS Doctor to keep your medical notes up to date if you would like us to do this for you. You can add your NHS doctor’s name and surgery address to the consultation form.

Please note that no animals or children are allowed in the clinic – please leave them with someone you trust.

A 30 minute consultation is £200.

Specific treatments on the same day may be more than this but will include the consultation fee. Prices will be advised prior to any treatment.

If a prescription is required, it will be provided at your consultation without an additional charge. Please note that, as this is a private prescription, you will be responsible for paying the pharmacist for the medication.

We require 24 hours’ notice to change or cancel an appointment. Failure to provide enough notice will result in a £100 fee which is non-refundable. A £100 fee will be paid at the time of booking.

Please be aware that our clinic is not a suitable place for children or animals. Please arrange to leave them with someone you trust. Our service caters for patients with a minimum age of 18 years.
