Award season is upon us once again and, while we’re busy ensuring that you look your best for the big ceremony, we’re also getting in on the action ourselves.
Dermal Clinic founder, Jackie Partridge, recently jetted off to London to attend the Aesthetic Awards 2017. There she was presented with the accolade of ‘Highly Commended’ for Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner of the Year, and it would only be fair to say that she was very deserving of the title.
This is the third time Jackie has brushed up successfully at the Aesthetic Awards, after taking home the ‘Commended’ award the in 2016 and 2015 for Best Aesthetic Nurse UK. It seems that Jackie certainly has the makings to take her to the top of the industry.
Jackie’s achievements in the medical cosmetic industry haven’t just been from the Aesthetic Awards: in 2015 she picked up Best Cosmetic Nurse at the Scottish Medical Cosmetics Awards 2015.
Jackie’s Highly Commended awarded is yet another proud achievement under her belt – or gloves for that matter – as she has already been awarded a distinction for her postgraduate certificate in Aesthetic Medicine.
With no signs of slowing the pace, she continues to beautify her repertoire within the cosmetic industry and is now undertaking a Masters Degree in non-surgical aesthetic practice, further enhancing her expertise in the field.
Her passion for the industry goes more than just skin-deep, as she is a welcomed member of Healthcare Improvement Scotland Programme Board, representing those from the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN).
Dermal Clinic has also won multiple awards thanks to the injection of ambition from both Jackie, and her husband, Jarrod, who has helped managed the clinic since 2007.
Jackie has been a key factor towards the changing face of the cosmetic industry. In her role on the board, she has assisted in introducing new legislation which requires independent clinics to register with Healthcare Improvement Scotland. Jackie is also a well-respected member of the Galderma panel.
With this latest award win, Jackie will continue to fight for the highest of standards in the industry, educating both practitioners and those seeking medical cosmetic guidance, helping to ensure that no-one falls victim to bad cosmetic practice.
